Mpumalanga: Climate and nature

Climate

Mpumalanga's climate varies from temperate in the highlands of the south and west, to sub-tropical in the northern plains with hot, rainy summers.

Nature

The varied terrain gives rise to many crops, including tea, bananas, tobacco, nuts, lemons and lettuces. Much of the region is forest. Many animals and birds can be found in the immense Kruger Game Park (see link below).
