Oakwood Park

Pembrokeshire's answer to Alton Towers is more peaceful than its Midlands rival as you would expect, but there's lots to do. The experience starts with a miniature train ride from the car park to the site proper. There are the usual 'white-knuckle' rides, including a wooden roller coaster, splash rides and bungee-style experiences. Children will enjoy several rides and indoor interactive games and learning zones. The less adventurous will appreciate the crazy golf and the lovely parkland setting. A strange experience is picnicking whilst being watched by peacocks perched on the lower tree branches.

There's huge amounts of parking space, and one entry price covers all activities. The site has a cafeteria and souvenir shop.

HOW TO GET THERE

Oakwood Park is on the A4075 which runs between the A40 at Canaston Bridge, and the A477 Pembroke road. From Tenby, take the A478 towards Narbeth and turn left on the A4115. At the end of this road turn right. Oakwood Park is a few hundred yards on the left.
