The town has a number of small shops and is a good place to buy second-hand furniture. On the outskirts is a large Tesco that opens 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to the usual wide range of grocery items, the store has a photographic shop with rapid developing, a curry counter and a small selection of clothes. This is ideal if you are travelling to or from Ireland at night.
