This large village is listed under shopping because if you are self-catering and traveling by car it has some useful shops with easy parking. Going to Tenby or Pembroke for an aspirin, or even your groceries, is not recommended at the height of the tourist season

The shops include a medium sized supermarket with lots of free parking, a tiny Post Office (be prepared to queue outside at busy times!), and a chemist.

Another reason to stop at Kilgetty is the tourist information centre which has a large car park with public toilets.

HOW TO GET THERE

Kilgetty is just off the crossroad between the A478 (Narbeth to Tenby) and the A477 (St Clears to Pembroke Dock).
