This large family restaurant is entirely upstairs and is conveniently located close to car parks and the sea.

There is plenty of window seating so you can enjoy the excellent views over the beach and harbour

It has a wide range of food, especially fish dishes, and a licensed bar.

Fascinating photographs on the stairs depict a bygone age of sailing craft and a commercial fishing industry.

The Old Chemist Inn

This strangely named pub - presumably an old chemist shop or the project of a geriatric pharmacist - is on the Strand (main street). It serves excellent food and keeps an impressive wine cellar. Seating is in two bars with beach views and a large courtyard with plenty of outside seating.
