Pembrokeshire
Pembroke CarveryThe long frontage is prominent on the lower part of Pembroke's one-way system, opposite a pay and display car park. The building serves three functions: a chinese take-away, and a combined chinese and western restaurant. The chinese food is first class and the take-away is very popular with locals and tourists alike. When very busy, an upper floor can be used to increase the restaurant seating capacity.
Pardon My GardenThis is the bizarre name for a lovely restaurant in the countryside above Pembroke. Take the B4319 (signposted Stackpole, Bosherston) from Pembroke and follow the signs to Hangman's Hall - yes, really - and Pardon My Garden. Light meals and teas are available, and those seeking gluten free food are well catered for. We sat in the very pleasant south-facing conservatory, basking in the March sunshine whilst listening to the wind whistling outside. The service was prompt and very friendly. The restaurant was adorned with many ornaments, most of which were for sale.
