Westdale Beach

Close to the busy beach at Dale, Westdale is a haven that is inaccesible by car, though there is a small amount of parking nearby. The beach is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

It is described as "Recommended" in the Marine Conservation Society's Good Beach Guide, 2005. We did not investigate the beach itself, though the view from the road is impressive.

Road to Westdale, Pembrokeshire
This is as far as you can go in a car. The stile, however, leads to a footpath. A small number of vehicles can park here.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Dale, follow the one-way road to the castle (clearly visible) and take the steep hill on the left just past it.
