A report from the MCS released in May 2010 lists beaches and the results
of their water quality test. In line with their general findings on British beaches, more Pembrokeshire beaches were upgraded than downgraded.
Improved beaches were: Abereiddy Bay, Amroth, Broadhaven, Gelliswick, Little Haven, Nolton Haven, Poppit Sands (W), and Westdale.
Downgraded beaches were: Aber Mawr Bay, Goodwick Sands, Porthselau, and St Brides Haven

Blue Flag Awards
In 2010, Blue Flag awards went to thirteen Pembrokeshire beaches.
The Blue Flag scheme works towards sustainable
development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water
quality, environmental education and information, environmental management,
