Broad Haven

Situated on the West coast, less than 10km from Haverfordwest, is the out-of the way sandy beach at Broad Haven. We visited out of season on a very windy day as these pictures show.

Parking at Broad Haven is behind the promenade, but note that it takes a while to drive the tortuous signposted route.

However, once you have parked, the walk from the car park to the sea is quite short.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach during the summer months.

Broad Haven has several small hotels and a sea-front shop sells provisions, ice-creams and newspapers.



NOTE: Do not confuse this beach with Broad Haven near Pembroke, sometimes called Broad Haven (south).

Broad Haven has a large and flat sandy beach. It is popular with watersports enthusiasts.

HOW TO GET THERE

Take the B4341 from Haverfordwest.
