This imposing statue is at the entrance to the grounds of Stormont Castle, Belfast. It is of politician and lawyer Edward Carson who in 1921 stated: "... let them see that the Catholic minority have nothing to fear from a Protestant majority." It took a long time for his words to come true in Northern Ireland.
